These leather animals are unique handicraft of India and can be best described as unique home accent or life style accessories with a very unusual appeal. · These animal figurines are among a few things in our lives that are not mass produced. Each and every animal is individually handcrafted - no two pieces are ever the same. This handicraft is also very unique in the sense that it belongs to one specific region in Central India where the craftsmen are exceptionally blessed with profound knowledge and understanding of animal anatomy and the extraordinary workmanship.
The leather used in making these animals is usually a goat or sheep leather. This leather is processed with various tree barks and other herbs for proper conditioning and better usability in animal sculpture making process. After processing, this leather is generally known as Vegetable Tanned Leather. The whole process of treating leather is traditional and manual.
Making of these wonderful sculptures is quite a process. The whole process is manual and utilizes all natural resources including sunlight to completely take the moisture out of these animal sculptures before mounting leather on them. Conventionally the size of an animal is measured diagonally from the mouth to the tail. The actual height of the animal is then made in proportion of this diagonal size. So, a 12" or 18" animal is not necessarily 12" or 18" in height when measured vertically. However, no two sculptures will ever have exactly the same measurements. We need your Resale or Tax Identification Number to be able to send you our wholesale pricelist. However, this field on our Registration form is not mandatory.
If you would like to buy from us in large quantities or container volume, we can quote you our Ex-Factory, FOB, or CIF rates. These shipments are shipped directly from our factory in India and require a minimum volume of one 20' container per order. Please contact us for more details.

We usually do not sell retail. However, if you wish us to develop any bigger size animal i.e. 48” and beyond, we will be glad to work with you. You are most welcome to send us your inquiries, even if you wish to buy in lesser quantities. We would be glad to suggest you a retailer in your area selling our animal figurines.
